Ayubia National Park

Galiyat is also home to Ayubia National Park, which is a protected area of 8,184 acres, it was declared a national park in 1984. It also has chair lifts and lots of fun for the whole family.

The 18.7 km journey from Ayubia to Nathia Gali takes approximately 35–40 minutes via the scenic Nathia Gali Road. Surrounded by towering mountains and lush alpine forests, Nathia Gali is a breathtaking destination, perfect for hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers.

Renowned as one of the most popular hill stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nathia Gali offers a vibrant mix of charming restaurants, local handicraft shops, and premium dry fruit stores. Nathia Gali Church

Nathia Gali boasts a nice Church, St. Matthew’s, a remnant from the British period and is made entirely of wood. It is located at the edge of the mountain with a stunning panoramic view towards Kashmir. Nathiagali Church is at about 40 minutes drive from the Abbottabad city. 

Located near Paradise Point near Nathia Gali park, it can be reached after a short hike from Alpine Hotel.

Mushkpuri Peak

Mushkpuri is the second highest hill of Galiyat range, KPK, Pakistan. It is located in the Hills of Nathia gali in District Abbottabad. It is approximately 9452 feet (2,800 meters) above sea level. Track to Mushkpuri top starts from Nathia gali spiraling upward through green pine forests. It is 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) of climb. 

The way to the top is breathtaking, very verdant and is rich with fragmented flowers. Especially at the end of the rainy season it gives a very attractive view to the hikers. When going from Murree to Nathiagali, Mushkpuri track comes 3km before Nathiagali. It leads you from Dunga gali to Ayubia.

Chair Lift, Ayubia

A chairlift ride in Ayubia is more than just a journey—it’s a dreamlike experience of gliding through clouds and over lush green valleys. As one of the oldest and most iconic attractions in the region, the Ayubia Chairlift has been captivating travelers since its installation in 1962, when it was imported from Switzerland and first introduced in nearby Murree.

Today, it remains one of the most popular highlights of the Galyat region, offering visitors a chance to ascend to higher elevations while soaking in breathtaking panoramic views. Suspended above dense pine forests and rolling hills, the ride gives you the magical sensation of floating through mist and clouds.

With 56 seats operating along the route, the Ayubia Chairlift is perfect for adventure seekers and nature lovers alike.
